The Big Reveal
Anticipation is building! All the votes have been cast. The Bus is about to move. The scales are calculating loss. It's the BIG REVEAL!!!
How many reality shows have you watched where the finale is a hyped crescendo of energy where some contestant or worthy person or family is receiving some type of award? I watch several and it's always so awesome to see the celebration afterward. Most of the time there has been a back story that over the season or episode has been expounded and explained why this particular person is worthy of such honor. Our hearts are full of joy for the winner and we want to stand and cheer with them and often we the viewers will cry with them when we see their reward and the thankfulness they exhibit.
Do you know this is how our lives are too! Our back story may be different from others but we each have stories of disappointment and disaster. When things just didn't go according to our 'life plan'. When due to some reason life seems to take a turn and not for the better. Isn't it awesome when we feel God's divine plan for our lives molding us back into where it should be. Whether we want to accept that God allows bad things to happen we can't accept that His plan allows only good things because no one goes through life without problems. We all have them. It's the great equalizer. The wealthy and the poor. The healthy and the sick. We all face issues that seem insurmountable at times. Isn't it great that after a period of despair we get a BIG REVEAL. God brings good things to us. I think in those times all of Heaven watches us - the REAL reality show and reacts in much the same way that we react to the television shows. They are cheering us on. They are filled with joy and celebration that we made it.
If you haven't had a BIG REVEAL moment lately just wait... just like the TV shows there are always period of lull and struggle. You've got to fight! Life's isn't easy.... but when the bus rolls away and our votes have been counted we are WINNERS!!!
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." (How's that for a BIG REVEAL!)
